Ever since Dani Wyld could pick up a pencil, she has been inspired by the fictitious world of romance. When she was eight years old, her first story was about two flying pigs in love.

Bringing her creations to life in a more adult setting, she now writes dark romance. Enthralled by mythological lore, Dani uses different supernatural aspects to create unique characters. In their love lives, she throws them into a whirlwind of emotional situations, where they have to overcome typical relationship issues along with supernatural challenges.

Dani loves sitting on her porch under a full moon for inspiration, working hard to beat her record of writing a million words in a year and using an array of music to enhance her writing experience. 

 

When Dani takes a break from writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and an array of pets. Her writing is so ingrained in her daily life that she not only named her firstborn after her very first character but also uses many of the names of her main characters on her pets, including her iguana Kiera from Living with the Kierans.

In addition to years of writing to perfect her skills, Dani is pursuing her bachelor's degree in creative writing with a concentration in fiction. ​
